ABOUT ME

As you land on this page I like to share a little bit about myself and how
Soul’d on Life got started.

Originally born in Sweden in 1971. I’m currently living in Australia with my partner Simon and our two beautiful boys. I am incredibly proud of my heritage but also feel blessed to call both Sweden and Australia home.

In 1996 I decided to come to Australia to study photography and after my studies I spent 20 years working in media as a photojournalist. I used to love my job since every day was different and the opportunity to meet so many people from all walks of life, I truly felt like the lucky one.

In 2016 whilst pregnant with our second child I knew something had to change since I felt the importance to spend more time with our children rather than being at work all the time.

My passion of 30 years had slowly become monotonous and I knew there was time for a change. Over the years I had seen many photographers become jaded and I certainly didn’t want to become another one. 

We tried for many years to fall pregnant but it wasn’t until we tried numerous cycles of IVF that our dream to become parents finally came through.

As our second child was about to arrive my intention was to take a year off to get my business up and running and hopefully let go of my security and finally work for myself.

I was trying to figure out a business name and through internal processing Soul’d on Life was born. Little did I know that the name Soul’d on Life would actually make me truly come alive for the first time in my life.

As I launched Soul’d on Life on 21st of November 2016, that same week I got told that I had breast cancer whilst being 34 weeks pregnant.

What unfolded after that was months and years of fear, loss and finally enormous growth. 

I literally became Soul’d on Life and believe God gave me that name just to remind me how blessed I was to wake up another day.

From grief came an urge to help other people find their purpose through health and wellbeing and make you realise the importance of having all parts of your life in alignment.

This process certainly doesn’t happen overnight but since you have landed on my page I believe you are looking for something more in life.
